Crypto Market Faces Mixed Momentum as Traders Await Next Move
Crypto market momentum has been mixed as traders remain cautious ahead of the next major move. The price of Bitcoin has stayed within a narrow range, limiting stronger buying in altcoins.
However, some cryptocurrencies have shown better strength than others. Hyperliquid (HYPE) has performed well during the recent recovery, with its price steadily moving away from last week's bottom on the hourly chart. It has formed a clear sequence of higher highs, indicating buyers' domination in the market.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is close to 68 for Hyperliquid, meaning buying pressure is high but also approaching the overbought zone. If buyers push the price above $63.50-$64.00, it could move further up. On the flip side, if the price goes below the middle Bollinger Band, short selling may result in HYPE dropping to around $62.
Solana (SOL) has also been doing well, trading near $78.43 and staying above the middle Bollinger Band at $77.59. The RSI is not visible on this chart, but price movements demonstrate sufficient market performance. Solana's next major resistance level sits near $78.80.
XRP has continued its recent recovery and now trades near $1.1355. The latest move has pushed the price above several moving averages, improving the overall technical outlook for XRP. Buying volume has increased during the latest rally, and the Bollinger Bands have become wider, indicating that price volatility has started to increase.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has started to recover after several weeks of quiet trading, with its price moving above several short-term moving averages. This move has placed SHIB near an important resistance area. The RSI for SHIB has climbed above 70, showing very strong buying activity but also warning that the market could slow down after the recent rally.
