Sui's Price Trades Sideways Amid Low Market Volatility

The past week has seen significant events unfold in the cryptocurrency space, but for Sui (SUI), the impact has been relatively muted. A large token unlock on April 1 released approximately $37 million worth of tokens, which was one of the week's largest unlocks alongside OP and other altcoins.

However, this event, combined with a protocol upgrade that added features such as address aliases and stronger metadata security, did not lead to a significant price movement. Sui's price has been oscillating within a narrow band around $0.87, with a 24-hour change of roughly 1.1 percent.

The broader crypto market is also experiencing low volumes and volatility, with the total crypto market cap hovering at around $2.3 trillion and a 24-hour change of only about 0.4 percent. This has resulted in individual large caps like Sui moving within a narrow range rather than trending hard.
