Coinbase Prepares Tokenized Stocks for Global Customers

Coinbase is set to launch tokenized stocks for its non-US customers in August. The feature will allow traders to access US markets out of hours and enjoy benefits such as dividend payouts and shareholder rights.

The product merges traditional equities with crypto flexibility, enabling users to lend out their tokens for yields or transfer them to other users.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said that this is a 'great step towards unlocking global access to US markets'.
