Cryptocurrency Prices Rebound Amid Middle East Tensions
Bitcoin and Ethereum prices have shown resilience in the face of escalating tensions in the Middle East. Despite ongoing concerns about potential conflict, the value of these cryptocurrencies has increased.
The price of Bitcoin rose by 5.2% to $74,442.23 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, while Ethereum increased by 8.1% to $2,375. These gains are a departure from recent declines in crypto values due to signs of conflict escalation.
One week ago, Bitcoin and Ethereum had gained 8.1% and 12.4%, respectively, over the past week. The all-time high for Bitcoin was $128,198.07 on October 6, 2025, while Ethereum's highest value was $4,953.73 on August 24, 2025.
