Blockchain firm Space and Time has introduced virtual vaults for institutional onchain lending. These digital containers allow lenders to monitor and verify collateral across various centralized exchanges and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

The platform enables lenders to configure their virtual vaults according to specific loan agreements, including which assets qualify as eligible collateral and what thresholds trigger alerts.

This innovation addresses a critical challenge in institutional lending: the need for real-time verification of collateral.
