Binance Marks Nine Years with $4.5M Prize Pool Campaign

Binance is celebrating its ninth anniversary since founding in July 2013. The company has grown significantly over the past nine years, from a crypto exchange to a financial super app with a $4.5 million prize pool campaign.

The Built by You campaign aims to recognize and reward Binance's community of users, developers, content creators, and partners who have helped shape the platform.

Binance emphasized that its development over the past nine years has been driven by user demand for a single platform that provides access to digital assets, stablecoins, public markets, payments, and blockchain capabilities. The company has expanded beyond crypto trading, offering users direct equity investing, TradFi perpetual bonds, and fiat channels.

Binance highlighted its growth in the first half of 2026, with a 7% increase in registered retail users and a 9% rise in institutional users. The exchange also processed over 36,000 law enforcement requests and recovered or froze assets worth more than $40 million.
