Bitcoin Loses Ground to Traditional Assets Amid Market Shift
Bitcoin's recent price decline has led to a notable shift in its position among global assets, with its market capitalization now standing at $1.5 trillion.
The cryptocurrency's value has fallen by 11% since the start of the year and nearly 30% over the past twelve months, causing it to drop to the 13th spot in the list of the world's most valuable assets.
In contrast, precious metals such as gold and silver have seen significant gains during this period, with gold reaching an all-time high of $5,600 per ounce and currently trading at around $4,486.
The trend is also reflected in the technology sector, where shares of artificial intelligence and semiconductor companies have outperformed Bitcoin.
