BTSE has launched its regulated cryptocurrency exchange in Indonesia through a joint venture and rebranding of local exchange NVX.
The new platform, BTSE Indonesia, operates under a license issued by Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) and is authorized to function as a Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets Trading Operator (PAKD).
This regulatory approval places the exchange among the limited number of regulated entities permitted to offer cryptocurrency trading services in the country while complying with anti-money laundering requirements and customer asset protection rules.
