Morgan Stanley Files Low-Fee Solana ETF Amid Growing Institutional Interest
Morgan Stanley's move to file for a low-fee Solana spot ETF has sparked renewed interest in the cryptocurrency. The proposed ETF, which would charge a sponsor fee of just 0.14%, marks a significant development in institutional adoption of Solana.
Meanwhile, SBI Global Asset Management has launched Japan's first tokenized equity fund on the Solana blockchain, further demonstrating growing interest in decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain technology.
However, despite these positive developments, Solana's native token remains near a 2.5-year low, trading between $68 and $77. This suggests that market sentiment remains cautious, with investors waiting for the SEC to approve Morgan Stanley's ETF proposal before making any significant moves.
