Payward Joins US Tech Force Initiative to Advance Crypto Security in Federal Upgrades
Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, has joined the US Tech Force initiative to contribute its expertise in crypto security and blockchain technology to federal tech upgrades. The program, managed by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), aims to integrate private-sector expertise into public service by recruiting skilled engineers for 2-year assignments focused on pressing areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and secure blockchain infrastructure.
The collaboration marks a significant step for Payward in applying its specialized knowledge from the digital asset space to broader governmental needs. The company has built a reputation for creating high-performance systems capable of handling extreme demands for speed, protection, and expansion. Its involvement underscores the recognition that upgrading government technology is essential for maintaining public confidence, bolstering economic vitality, and preserving global standing.
Arjun Sethi, Co-CEO for both Kraken and Payward, highlighted the strategic importance of this collaboration, emphasizing that the firm's engineers will help construct durable and secure platforms.
