A growing number of industry experts believe that blockchain crypto links are poised to become the standard payment method for AI Agents, as traditional payment channels struggle to adapt to high-frequency machine payments.

Data from Keyrock reveals that in the past year alone, there have been a staggering 176 million on-chain transactions related to AI Agents, with a total settlement value exceeding $73 million.

The trend is strikingly clear: machine payment settlements are becoming increasingly concentrated. Currently, a whopping 98.6% of these transactions use the USDC stablecoin, solidifying its position as a dominant player in the market.
