Ethereum Foundation's Role as Protocol Steward Defended by Blockchain Researcher
A blockchain researcher has come to the defense of the Ethereum Foundation, arguing that it is doing exactly what it was designed to do.
According to William Mougayar, a Toronto-based blockchain investor and researcher, the foundation is on a 'subtraction path' aimed at reducing its central influence over the network.
Mougayar claims that the foundation's actions, including the sale of Ether (ETH) and decision to unstake tokens, are part of this strategy. He argues that the Ethereum Foundation is hardening the protocol and working to make it less necessary for the world to rely on it.
