Tokenized Real-World Assets Experience Explosive Growth

The tokenization of real-world assets has emerged as a significant trend in the financial industry. According to Binance Research's latest report, the market value of active tokenized RWAs surged 589% from early 2025 to June 2026.

This growth is remarkable, especially considering that the broader crypto market fell sharply in early June due to macro headwinds and rising rate expectations. The tokenization sector is demonstrating genuine structural momentum, unlike the speculative nature of many crypto assets.

The majority of the growth can be attributed to institutional demand for yield-bearing instruments, such as bonds and money market funds. These instruments have grown 83% in absolute dollar terms, adding $6.5 billion in value during the period.
